Your donation to our 501(C)(3) tax exempt youth program will make a summer to remember for a Detroit area young person.

Funding Opportunities
- $50: Replace running rigging on a boat to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- $100: Provide fuel for coach boats for one month to support training and instruction.
- $400: Subsidize one child for a two-week "Learn to Sail" session, opening the door to new skills and experiences.
- $1,000: Subsidize one child for the full summer sailing program, giving them a comprehensive introduction to sailing and racing.
- $5,000: Fund the after-school boat building program, fostering hands-on learning and teamwork.
- $5,000: Fund repairs and updates to the fixed docks used by the sailing program to maintain safe infrastructure.
- $5,000: Fund a major refit and update of our 33’ Tartan 10 sailboat used for our Race Crew Training program.
- $10,000: Offset one year of boat maintenance expenses, ensuring a reliable fleet for all participants.
- $40,000: Replace the sailing program’s wood floating docks with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) modular docks to increase durability and safety.
- $100,000: Cover the expenses for one year of Detroit Community Sailing Center programming, supporting access and instruction for the community.

PayPal Giving Fund
Making supporting charities even easier, PayPal now has an option to donate a small amount every time you use PayPal via their Giving Fund. To select us as your favorite charity, log in to PayPal and click on "Set your favorite charity" from the dashboard. Type in "Detroit Community Sailing Center" and save the setting. Now, every time you check out and use PayPal (for anything!), you can choose to donate $1.
